Bill Drummond is probably better known for being a member of music group the KLF. However, since he and his partner Jimmy Cauty dissolved the group, at the height of their success. His works and actions often defy explanation and perhaps this is their attraction. His works dont make economic sense either - he once incinerated a million pounds (The K-Foundation burn a Million Pounds) and plans to bury $20,000 as part of an on-going project The smell of money under ground - see Job No 5 on his website. Perhaps its because he can do these things that he does them, and leaves it to others to work out why. |
